Update to 18 Roadways Project

UPDATE: 5/16/07
The Improvements to Eighteen Roads mill and overlay project is 80% completed.  The contractor had to shut-down paving operations during the winter months, which established a new substantial completion date June 12, 2007. The entire project is anticipated to come in below the engineers estimate.  The Atlantic County Improvement Authority has discussed expanding the scope of work with Atlantic County.

The following is a list of Atlantic County Roads paved to date under the Improvements to Eighteen Roadways project.

1. Ocean Heights Avenue, Somers Point (CR #559 Alt.)- From Route 9 to Patcong Creek, Completed December 2006.
2. Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, EHT (CR #559)- From Centerline of Bridge EH-018, Heading 200 Feet in Each Direction, Completed December 2006.
3. Mill Road (CR #662) & Fire Road, EHT (CR #651) Intersection- On Mill Road From Intersection Heading West 185 Feet, Completed December 2006.
4. Mays Landing-Blue Anchor Road, Folsom (CR #561 Spur)- From 200 Feet West of 8th Street Heading West 3,800 Feet (Over Culvert), Completed December 2006.
5. Oak Road, Buena Vista (CR #681)- From Approx 700 Feet West of Cumberland Road Heading West 2,250 Feet, Completed January 2007.
6. Moss Mill Road, Mullica Township (CR #561)- From Old Columbia Road to 300 Feet East of 7th Avenue (Paper Street) or 7000 Feet East of Centerline Old Columbia Road (CR #658), Completed March 2007.
7. Duerer Street, Mullica Township (CR #561)- From Approx 900 Feet East of Moss Mill Road to Approx 1,350 Feet East of Moss Mill Road (450 Feet Total Length), Completed March 2007.
8. Duerer Street, Mullica Township (CR #561)- From Approx 150 Feet East of Darmstadt Street to Approx 1,250 Feet East of Darmstadt Street (1,100 Feet Total Length), Completed March 2007.
9. Clark’s Landing Road, Egg Harbor City (CR #624)- From Philadelphia Avenue to 100 Feet East of Bridge EHC-6, Completed March 2007.
10. Old New York Road, Galloway Township (CR #610)- From Nacote Creek Bridge to Motts Creek Road, Completed March 2007.
11. Jimmie Leeds Road, Galloway Township (CR #561)- From Route 9 to Seaview Avenue, Completed March 2007.
12. Pomona Road, Galloway Township (CR #575)- From Bridge G-10 (Morses Mill) Heading North/East 1,000 Feet, Completed March 2007.
13. Spruce Avenue, EHT (CR #684)- From West Jersey Avenue to Sharon Drive (Paper Street) or 300 Feet South of Bend in Road, Completed March 2007.
14. Zion Road, EHT (CR #615)- From Asbury Avenue to Old Stage Road, Completed March 2007.
15. Delilah Road, EHT (CR #646)- From Tremont Avenue to Airport Circle, Completed March 2007.

County Roads remain to be paved under the Improvements to Eighteen Roadways Project . 

1. Third Street, Hammonton (CR #724)- From Colwell Avenue to Woods Street
2. Tilton Road, EHT (CR #563)- 300 Feet Section North of Airport Circle.
3. Delilah Road, EHT (CR #646)- From Airport Circle Heading East Approx 400 Feet.
4. Bargaintown-Fire Road, EHT (CR #651)- From Mill Road to 700 Feet North of Hingston Avenue.
